Mr. Chhorn Songmeng is an attorney-at-law licensed by the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He has a wealth of experience working in the private sector, covering cross-border transactions, hospitality, and finance and investment, and he is also well-connected. Prior to founding M&A, he was an attorney in a leading law group based in Phnom Penh, overseeing most of the commercial-related transactions and commercial litigation, and an advisor to multinational corporations, advising those entities on corporate, regulatory, and securities matters.
Meng graduated from Melbourne Law School of the University of Melbourne, Australia, in Commercial Law, and he is also holding an English language-based Bachelor of Law and a Master of Private Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics, which is a prestigious Cambodian law school. He speaks native Khmer, is fluent in English, and is conversant in Mandarin and Spanish.
