As a Senior Consultant at Meng & Associates (M&A), Chesda has over fifteen years of experience in practicing law in Cambodia practicing in the areas of private commercial transactions, with specialized knowledge and expertise in labour law and labour administration, institution building and restructure, dispute resolution and prevention, contracts and civil law. Prior to joining M&A, Chesda held senior role at both local and international law firms, managing a labour sub-practice group and was a Senior Legal Officer at the Arbitration Council Foundation, providing legal supports to arbitrators of the Arbitration Council. Chesda teaches Labour Law at Royal University of Law and Economics, the English Language Based Bachelor of Law Program – ELBBL. Chesda holds a Master of Laws (Advanced) degree from University of Queensland, Australia; and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia. He is fluent in Khmer and English.
