Mr. Sim Sorya is a lawyer, arbitrator, and mediator. Experience includes director, deputy director, technical advisor, analysis chief, investigator, and researcher in areas of international crimes, labor, and commercial arbitration. He litigates civil, commercial and criminal cases. He is also counsel and consultant in cases involving real estate and constructions before the National Commercial Arbitration Centre (Cambodia).
Sim speaks native Khmer, proficient English, conversant Thai, Vietnamese, and little French. In addition to Yale University MA degree and Fulbright Scholarship, Sim obtained an English based Bachelor of Law degree in Phnom Penh, with highest scores in commercial arbitration class and moot court competition. He also holds a B.Ed in English teaching from the Institute of Foreign Language in Cambodia.
